Come and meet us at the World Water Week!
27 August 2018The World Water Week (SIWI) will take place from 26 - 31 August in Stockholm. The programme consists of more than 200 sessions of different formats and covering a range of subjects. During the convenor sessions, the most relevant topics on this year’s theme “Water, ecosystems and human development” will be discussed. World Waternet will be present at the SIWI. We will participate in the following sessions:
Monday August 27th
Meet & Greet, by Blue Deal and WaterWorX
From 16:30 – 18:00 hrs
Netherlands Pavilion
Meet with Blue Deal consortia and WaterWorX. Join us for drinks and snacks and get to know everything about the two new Dutch water programmes Blue Deal and WaterWorX. Steven van Rossum (CEO World Waternet), Roelof Kruize (CEO Waternet) and Judith Kolen (Strategic Advisor World Waternet) will be present to share experiences with the Blue Deal and WaterWorX programmes.
Tuesday August 28th
SIWI Sofa Blue Deal met Henk Ovink en Hein Pieper
From 12:00 – 12:30 hrs
SIWI Sofa Space
Special envoy Henk Ovink of the ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, vice president Hein Pieper of Dutch Water Authorities and Kidst Ketema Bekele (our Young Expert in Ethiopia) will sit down on the SIWI Sofa to discuss the major topics of the Blue Deal and how this new partnership will positively affect our world. The movie will be broadcasted during the event and afterwards posted on the DWA website www.dutchwaterauthorities.com ().
